Deerfield Inn sits on the shore of Lake Chatuge, where the Blue Ridge Mountains fold down into still water. There's no lobby bustle, no schedule of activities. Just twenty rooms, each with its own outdoor seat facing the lake, and the kind of quiet that takes a day or two to fully settle into.

We keep a Little Free Library stocked with books our guests leave behind, hand out local maps with our own routes marked in pen, and otherwise stay out of your way.
