Great Hiking! The Appalachian Trail winds it's way through our scenic mountains and many other trails within an hours drive make great day hikes to waterfalls and awe inspiring vistas. We make a great, economical base camp for day hikers! |

and The Brasstown Valley Resort over
in Young Harris, GA, make for an interesting
and very reasonably priced change of
pace from the crowded big city courses. |

For those inclined to enjoy gardening, don't miss the Fred Hamilton Rhododendron Garden over in Hiawassee, GA. It's a short trip over to the Georgia Mountain Fair Grounds where the beautiful garden trail winds gently across a mountainside overlooking Lake Chatuge. |

Brasstown Bald, Georgia's highest mountain, is only a forty minute, scenic drive through Hiawassee, over toward Helen, GA. Breathtaking vistas atop the peak provide a look at four states. There are picnic areas for a relaxing, family outing and cool mountain air. |
